5. Software Licensing, Data & Installation

5.1. Included Data and Service Terms ComplianceFlow UK products include a pre-paid data, software, or managed service period as specified at the time of purchase.

  • The £349 SME Starter Kit (Wi-Fi): The purchase price includes hardware ownership. The first 12 months of monitoring app access are included. Continued access is subject to the app developer’s terms and a renewal fee (approx. £12/year) payable by the Customer directly to the software provider.
  • The £949 Industrial Kit (4G/LTE): The purchase price includes a 12-month licence for the 4G/LTE mobile data SIM and our managed "Concierge" reporting service (automated monthly PDF generation). This 12-month term commences on the date the hardware is dispatched from our facility.

5.2. Renewals & Expiry (Industrial Kit) To ensure uninterrupted carbon auditing and data flow, ComplianceFlow UK will attempt to notify the Customer 60 days prior to the expiration of the initial 12-month Concierge term.

  • Renewal: The Customer may choose to renew the data and automated reporting service to cover the subsequent audit year. The current renewal rate is £299 (excl. VAT) for a further 12-month term (subject to change).
  • Non-Renewal: If the Customer chooses not to renew, the SIM card will be deactivated, and the automated delivery of monthly PDF audits will cease. Historical data stored on the cloud servers may be permanently deleted by the host provider 30 days after expiration.

5.3. Installation Policy (The Golden Rule) ComplianceFlow UK is a supplier of hardware and software reporting tools only. We do not provide, arrange, or bundle physical installation services. The Customer is solely responsible for engaging a suitably qualified and insured electrical contractor to install the equipment in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations). ComplianceFlow UK accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from incorrect installation, unauthorised tampering, or the use of unqualified personnel to fit the equipment.

5.4. Liability & Connectivity ComplianceFlow UK acts as a provider of managed data services and hardware. We are not liable for:

  • Localised mobile network outages, Wi-Fi instability, or poor signal strength at the Customer's site location.
  • Financial losses or regulatory fines arising from errors in automated reports or the Customer's use of the Carbon Calculator Excel tool. These tools are provided for guidance and do not constitute a certified financial audit.
  • Total liability to the Customer for any claim arising out of or in connection with the products or services provided shall be strictly limited to the total price paid for the specific kit and service bundle in question.
